Good ideas feel a little odd at first.

A small studio for motion, 3D and the web. We make things that feel a little odd at first, and exactly right after.

Most of what we make starts as a scribble like this one. Then we design it, animate it and build it properly: fast, clear and easy to use. The rock at the top of this page runs live, in your browser.

Work

Fathom, the opening shot

A garden pool from half under water, the surface slowly moving.

How it goes

  1. Find the direction.

We start with you, your audience and what the work has to do. We gather references, ask the useful questions and agree on a direction.

What you get: A brief and a direction

  2. Make it feel right.

We design in context, in motion and on real screens, with room to compare directions and refine the details.

What you get: Designs, prototypes, motion tests

  3. Build it properly.

We bring it into the browser, check it across screens and devices, and hand over something fast, accessible and easy to keep.

What you get: A finished site, film or scene

let’s make it happen.

Prepare a brief

a few lines is plenty

This page prepares your brief on this device, to email, copy or download. Nothing is sent from here.

A few things you might ask.

Do you only make websites?

No. We also make motion pieces and real-time 3D, on their own or as part of a site.

Do we need a finished brief?

A rough idea is enough to start. Tell us what you do and what you would like the work to do better, and we can work out the detail together.

How do you decide the scope and cost?

The pages, the content, the motion and 3D, and the technical requirements shape the scope. We agree those before a proposal; there are no fixed packages.

Can the site include animation?

Absolutely. We use motion to draw attention, explain changes and make interactions feel considered, and it respects reduced-motion preferences.

this page, for one.
